Dakea’s Smoke Vent is an automatic smoke ventilation window for sloping roofs. High quality – to the EN 12101-2 European standard – this smoke vent is ideal for enhancing the safety features of a building and protecting occupants in the event of a fire.

• Dakea Smoke Vent is a centre pivot smoke ventilation roof window for sloping roofs between 15 and 60 degrees.
• It is CE-marked in compliance with the European standard EN 12101-2 for smoke and heat exhaust ventilators.
• In the event of a fire, a smoke vent window helps to reduce the impact of smoke inside a room or building, protecting occupants and reducing danger. Because smoke rises, the most effective placement for a ventilation window is in the roof.
• It is an automatic smoke vent window. The window is linked to the control unit. If a smoke detector registers smoke in the atmosphere, or a ‘break-glass’ point is shattered, the signal is activated. Upon receiving this signal from the control unit, the window uses its electric motor and gas struts to automatically open the window to maximum position within 60 seconds.
